In an effort to promote environmental awareness and responsible waste management, our college recently organized a Plastic Collection Drive on campus. The initiative aimed to reduce plastic waste and encourage students to take active steps toward sustainability.
The initiative received an overwhelming response from students across all streams. Among them, Class XII C Com stood out by contributing the highest amount of plastic waste and showing exceptional team spirit throughout the campaign. In recognition of their efforts, the class was awarded the “Best Eco-Friendly Award” during a special assembly organized by the college.
This eco-friendly campaign not only helped in collecting a significant amount of plastic waste but also inspired students to adopt environmentally conscious habits. The collected plastic was handed over to a local recycling unit for proper processing.
The success of the drive highlights the power of collective action and reinforces the college's commitment to environmental responsibility. Such initiatives remind us that even small efforts, when combined, can lead to meaningful change for a cleaner and greener future.
